AN Edleen family of three was held up during an armed robbery at their Cryptomaria Street home on Thursday night.
Capt Lesibana Molokomme, spokesperson for the Norkem Park SAPS, said the robbery took place shortly before 8pm.

“Two suspects armed with firearms attacked the family outside their home while they were loading a water tank onto a trailer. They were instructed to get into the house and to lie down,” Molokomme said.
The suspects ransacked the house and left the scene with two laptops, a gaming console, jewellery, three cellphones and a plasma television.
The suspects were driving a white Ford Fiesta, registration number unknown.
