Tembisa South SAPS welcomed a new station commander

Colonel Mashiane took up a leadership position in order to replace Brigadier David Molefi Tsotsotso who was promoted to Midrand SAPS at the beginning of May.

Tembisa South SAPS have welcomed Lieutenant Colonel Kwena Joseph Mashiane as the new station commander.

Colonel Mashiane took up the leadership position at the beginning of May 2017 when he replaced Brigadier David Molefi Tsotsotso who has been promoted to Midrand SAPS. .

Colonel Mashiane joined the SAPS in 1992 and started working at the Midrand Police Station.

In 2003 he was transferred to Rabie Ridge SAPS in order to serve the community and in 2004 he started working at Tembisa SAPS as a field trainer where he mentored student police constables fresh out of the police training academy.

He was appointed at the Benoni Training Centre in 2007 where he held a similar post until 2012.

Later in 2012 he was transferred to Ivory Park SAPS where he served the community as a social crime prevention commander.

Lieutenant Colonel Mashiane also occupied the office of Human Resources in 2015 at Ivory Park where he worked as the head of HRM.

His passion for working together with the community of Tembisa South has already been noted and his assistance at the client service centre is much appreciated.
