NORKEM Park SAPS is investigating the murder of a Birch Acres woman who is suspected to have been killed around 1.30pm on Friday.
Police spokesperson Capt Lesibana Molokomme said the 57-year-old’s body was found on a bed by ADT Security officers.
A tenant had entered the yard and noticed the woman’s kitchen door was open.
“The tenant called the security company, that accessed the house and found the body. An ambulance was called but the woman was certified dead on scene,” said Molokomme.
The police do not have knowledge of the suspect(s) and are still investigating to establish whether any items were taken from the house.
