Committee of Kemptonians donate generously to orphans
Committee of Kemptonians donate to orphans in siphumelele New Beginnings.
A group of men of Nigerian descent gathered at Siphumelele New Beginnings and donated bags of groceries and cash on April 27.
Members of the Young Stars Committee of Friends and other good samaritans from Kempton Park went out and bought groceries before convening at the home to make the donation.
“We make numerous donations to a number of homes that care for the needy and as a committee we are very proud to have done something like this to help children who could use all the help and support they can get. Our members were more than generous and I want to thank each and everyone of them for making an effort. This would not be possible without their help,” said committee member Sunday Obielusi.
The committee plans to continue helping charity homes because they want to make a positive change in the lives of needy children in particular.
