SEVERAL suburbs have been left without water due to a damaged water pipe in the Kempton CBD.

According to ward councillor, Jaco Terblanche, the pipe was damaged by a contractor working on it.

The pipe is on the corner of Long Street and Greyilla Avenue.

The affected suburbs include Kempton Park Extensions 2-4, Allen Grove, Aston Manor, Nimrod Park and Glen Marais.

The water will be off for an estimated six hours.
