Two found dead inside room in Xubeni section

Two people were found dead in a room in Xubeni section.

Captain Manyadza Ralidzhivha said the two deceased were alleged to be a couple and their ages are estimated to be between 27 and 34.

“According to the other people who are staying with them in the same yard, an unusual smell was coming out from the room. When they forced the door open they found a pot still on the stove. The stove was still on. They switched off the stove. The police were called to the scene. It seems they were cooking something and the things had burnt in the pot. The cause of death will be determined by the post-mortem,” said Ralidzhivha.

He said police opened an inquest docket.
