Tembisa South SAPS station gets a new station commander.

Tembisa South SAPS station welcomed a new station commander replacing Lt Col Kwena Joseph Mashiane who led the station for two months as acting station commander.

Capt Neldah Sekgobela said Col Nthipe Lazarus Boloka took up the leadership position on July 10 as the new station commander of Tembisa South SAPS.

“Mashiane was recently transferred as the Vispol Commander of the station. Boloka is new at the station but not new at the SAPS as he turned 30 years in the service this year.

Boloka joined the SAPS in 1987 and started his career at Jabulani SAPS client service centre.

In 1989 he was transferred to Tembisa/Rabasotho ’s client service centre where he started serving the community of Tembisa.

In 1991 Boloka was among the officers who started the public order policing unit in Tembisa.

The unit was later transferred to Kew in Alexandra.

In 1995 he came back to serve the community of Tembisa/Rabasotho again at the client service centre.

In 1997 he started working at Detectives as the branch commander of the detectives in Tembisa until he was transferred to Tembisa South on Monday,” concluded Sekgobela.
