A Hospital View doctor is offering a R2 000 reward for information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the culprits who broke into his medical practice on Heritage Day.
Dr Stanford Ntsie said the break-in was captured on CCTV footage.
The break-in happened around 2am and a desktop computer, plasma TV and microwave oven were stolen. The culprits damaged a sliding door.
In the video one can see two men entering the premises through a sliding gate. One walks up to the door and opens the security gate. He breaks open the sliding door and enters the office.
Once inside he starts looking around while his accomplice also enters. The first suspect removes a computer screen from the desk, hands it to his mate, who then disappears.
The TV screen on the wall is then removed and taken outside. Going through the desk drawers, one finds a cash box, opens it and discovers it is empty. He leaves the box behind.
