DISASTER and Emergency Management Services (DEMS) within the City of Ekurhuleni has added another six new medical response vehicles worth nearly R2-million to its fleet.

This is in addition to the fleet which was launched on in August.

“The City of Ekurhuleni is committed in the upliftment of matters pertaining to quality service delivery. Strengthening our resources will improve response time and more lives will be saved,” said William Ntladi, spokesperson for the DEMS.

After the finalisation of all relevant documents, these primary response vehicles with paramedics on board will immediately be put into operation.
