Driver seriously injured as car rolls through fence near Pomona

A man, believed to be in his 30s, was left seriously injured when his vehicle rolled off the R21 near the Pomona turn-off on Friday night.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found that a vehicle had rolled off the road and through a fence, coming to rest on its roof. The driver of the vehicle was found lying a few metres away, Russel Meiring of ER24 said.
Paramedics assessed the man and found he had sustained numerous injuries, leaving him in a serious condition.
The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions before he was transported to Arwyp for further treatment.
