Two men were arrested in the parking area of Builders Warehouse on Besembos Street in a car reported stolen on Wednesday morning.
Chief Supt Wilfred Kgasago said a Toyota Tazz was stolen in Germiston in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
“The owner realised its disappearance when he woke up. He alerted his vehicle tracking company who in turn provided the metro police with the information,” he added.
The stolen Toyota Tazz was traced via GPS co-ordinates to the premises of Kempton Park Builders Warehouse. Two suspects found in the stolen vehicle in the parking lot were arrested. The recovery took place at 11.30am.
The pair, aged 26 and 27, were detained at Norkem Park Police Station on charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
