Help police find suspects after murder in Entshonalanga

A witness said the victim was on his way from Ivory Park Extension Two to catch a train to work

A 36-year-old man was fatally wounded on Dan Nkabinde Street in Entshonalanga section on January 18.

Tembisa SAPS communication officer, Constable Patricia Mgijima, said a witness alleged that the victim was on his way from Ivory Park Extension Two at about 3.30am to catch a train to work.

“The 36-year-old man was allegedly accosted by three unknown men who fought with him,” Mgijima said. “Multiple shots were fired at the victim at close range. The suspects then ran away with the deceased’s cellphone.”

Mgijima said no arrests had been made.

The Tembisa SAPS is appealing for any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.
