Tembisa SAPS is looking for a man on the identity kit.
The identity kit is of the suspect accused of rape during an incident that happened in September 2017, in Ivory Park.
According to the Tembisa SAPS communications officer, Constable Patricia Mgijima, a 25-year-old woman has alleged she was at a tavern when she twisted her leg.
“While she was at the gate, she met with an old school friend. Two unknown men came and offered to take her home. Inside the vehicle, there were two other ladies who got out of the car and left her with the two men. Instead of the men driving the victim home, they drove her to a guest house in Ivory Park. On arrival, she was dragged from the vehicle into a room. The suspects overpowered her and repeatedly raped her,” said Mgijima.
The Tembisa SAPS is appealing to members of the community who may be able to identify the suspect, to come forward.
Anyone who can help trace the suspect on the identity kit is asked to contact the investigating officer of the Tembisa SAPS, Detective Sergeant Tebogo Sesing on 071 201 9576.
