Water out in Spartan and Isando – more to come

In the meantime, the metro announced yet another water outage

The City of Ekurhuleni is aware of the current water supply interruption affecting Isando and Spartan.

Technicians are currently on site carrying out investigations to diagnose the cause of the interruption, said Themba Gadebe, spokesperson for the metro.

Roving water tankers have been made available at Anvil, Diesel, Industrial, Tunstil and André Greyvenstein streets.

The City of Ekurhuleni apologises for any inconvenience caused.

In the meantime, the metro announced yet another water outage to take place in Isando this weekend. This industrial area will not have water from Saturday at 10pm to Sunday at 10am.

The water supply cut has been schedules so maintenance work can take place when technicians replace a leaking water valve on Bohler Street.
