A man was stabbed to death after a fight over a girl broke out between him and another man on Wednesday evening.
Capt Jethro Mtshali, spokesperson for Kempton Park SAPS, said the other man was also wounded.
He said Kempton Park SAPS was summoned to the scene on Pretoria Road around 6pm. On their arrival, they found the victim with several stab wounds on his upper body. He was declared dead by paramedics.
“Community members caught up with the alleged killer, aged 23. He also sustained stab wounds. The suspect was taken to a local hospital under police guard and will face a charge of murder in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court.
