KEMPTON Park SAPS Crime Prevention Unit received a tip-off on Thursday about a man (27) who was suspected to be in possession of drugs at a bar on Kempton Road.
The officers received the tip-off during their crime prevention operation.
“Upon arrival, the suspect was found inside the bar allegedly packing dagga into Ziplock bags,” said Capt Jethro Mtshali, Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson.
“The suspect was arrested on a charge of possession of drugs. Three suspects were arrested a month ago at the same place for the same charge.”
Mtshali added the police would monitor all the liquor outlets around the city in an effort to put an end to drug peddling.
