Suspected hijacker wanted after he missed his appearance in court

He appeared in Tembisa Magistrate’s Court and was later granted R8 000 bail

Tembisa SAPS is looking for Thabang Khupe who skipped his appearance in Tembisa Magistrate’s Court in November 2017.

According to the Tembisa SAPS communication officer, Constable Patricia Mgijima, the suspect, Thabang Khupe, was arrested for a series of hijacking’s around Tembisa policing area.

“He appeared in Tembisa Magistrate’s Court and was later granted R8 000 bail. He was supposed to appear again in the court in November 2017 but he evaded the final stages of the trial. A warrant of arrest has been issued,” said Mgijima.
