
Community members of Seotlaone Section have apprehended three men after they had robbed two men in the area on February 17.
According to the Tembisa SAPS communications officer, Captain Manyadza Ralidzivha, a 25-year-old man was in the company of his friend at about 5.30am in Seotlaone Section.
“They came across the three men. While the victims were passing them, the suspects attacked them. The suspects strangled the victims and robbed them of their cellphones, wristwatch and wallet with an undisclosed amount of cash. Community members who witnessed the incident gave chase and managed to apprehend all three suspects. The Tembisa police were called to the scene,” said Ralidzivha.
A case of robbery with aggravating circumstances was registered at the Tembisa SAPS.
“The Tembisa SAPS would like to thank members of the community who helped to bring the suspects to book,” said Ralidzivha.
