Mayor distances himself from this event

On  March 13, the office of the executive mayor of Ekurhuleni received notice of an event poster circulating in the Kempton Park area.

The poster falsely claims that the, “Ward 104 Business and Professionals Vision Dialogue” will be hosted by the office of the executive mayor.

The office of the executive mayor unconditionally distances itself from the poster and is in no way involved with the organising or participation of this event.

The City does not host or sponsor political events under any circumstances, said Phakamile Mbengashe, acting spokesperson of the executive mayor of Ekurhuleni.
