A green Toyota Corolla sedan was hijacked at the Shimza’s Easter Experience.
The victim’s wife, Gritta Maroga, said her husband was coming back home from the event when he came across a young man who was pretending to be sick on the road and he got out of the car to check on him.
“As he did that, three more guys came out of nowhere and shoved him into the back seat at gunpoint and drove around till they dropped him off in the bushes near Klipfontein Sand with his hands tied,” said Maroga.
She said her husband managed to untie himself and ran to the nearest business where he was assisted by security guards.
The car has a black bonnet and a broken tail light, and it also has a few dents and scratches.
