Man wanted for house robbery by Rabie Ridge SAPS

Tthe suspect is wanted for the alleged robbery that took place in October 2017.

The Tembisa SAPS is looking for a man who allegedly committed a house robbery in Rabie Ridge.

According to the Tembisa SAPS communications officer, Constable Patricia Mgijima, the suspect is wanted for the alleged robbery that took place in October 2017.

“The complainant alleged that she was in the house when she heard a door opening. When she looked up she saw an unknown man pointing a firearm at her and he also shone a torch in her face,” said Mgijima.

Mgijima added that the suspect then demanded her cellphone, ransacked the house and took her clothes, handbags, cash, television and other valuable items.

“During this ordeal, the suspect was communicating with someone on his cellphone. After a while the complainant heard the sound of a car leaving,” added Mgijima.

Mgijima said the police are appealing to members of the community, who may identify the suspect as per the identikit, to come forward.
