Tembisa South SAPS was summoned to a murder scene at Nadia Street, Umthambeka Section, on the morning of April 2 at around 7.30am.

The station’s spokesperson, Captain Neldah Sekgobela, said on arrival at the scene the police found an Ethiopian man lying on the ground behind his car – a white Hyundai.

“The police inspected the body and discovered three shot wounds in his middle body. They then called an ambulance and on arrival, the paramedics certified the victim dead. The victim is known but the suspects are unknown. The body was transported to the Germiston mortuary by the pathologists,” added Sekgobela.

Tembisa South SAPS opened a murder case and appeal to anyone with information regarding the suspects to come forward.
