A 34-year-old man was arrested on April 13 for possession of a Silver Ford Fiesta which was hijacked in Vosloorus in March.
According to the Tembisa South SAPS communications officer, Captain Neldah Sekgobela, Ekurhuleni North SAPS was patrolling in Difateng Section when they spotted the vehicle with one suspect inside.
“They stopped the vehicle, tested it and it was established that the vehicle was reported as hijacked at Vosloorus SAPS. The suspect was arrested and taken to Tembisa SAPS,” said Captain Sekgobela.
The 34-year-old is expected to appear in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court for possession of a hijacked motor vehicle.
