Sections of Glen Marais will be without water for 7 hours

The water supply will be cut so a water pipe can be moved

Parts of Glen Marais will be without water on May 3 for at least seven hours.

The planned water supply interruption has been schedules to reroute and lower an existing water pipe on Monument Road.

The pipe needs to be moved to prevent any damage during road construction work currently taking place near Glen Acres Shopping Centre.

Streets that will be affected are Monument, Mukwa, Anemoon, Witgatboom, Botes and Quinine.

A number of water tankers will be provided. Two water tankers will be driving around the affected streets and one will be at Glen Acres Shopping Centre until water has been restored.
