A 17-year-old girl was left injured in the road after being hit by a car on May 16.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and Sebenza SAPS is calling on witnesses of the hit and run, which took place at the corner of Zuurfontein Road and Oranjerivier Drive, to come forward.
The incident took place at around 5.15pm.
Unknown bystanders called for an ambulance.
Sebenza SAPS spokesperson Sgt Sharon Tsotsoso: “We are urging community members who witnessed the incident and are able to give us a licence plate number to come forward.”
