Civil servants association invites retired civil servants in Tembisa

Mochaki said attendees must bring their South African identity documents to register on the association’s database.

The Tembisa Retired Civil Servants Association (TRCSA) invites all retired employees to a meeting at Mashemong Methodist Church on June 20.

TRCSA executive member Sam Mochaki said the aim of the gathering is to expand the association into a bigger structure to accommodate all neighbouring townships of Ekurhuleni.

“The objective of the organisation is to redress imbalances like pensions owed by the previous government.

“TRCSA has been in existence for about two years and our membership is quickly growing.

“For the case of outstanding pension monies to be recognised as a class act case, we need more members in our association,” said Mochaki.

He said among the things to be discussed at this meeting are the progress on the redress, report back from National Retired Civil Servants Association and the formation of the Ekurhuleni Retired Civil Servants Association.

Mochaki said attendees must bring their South African identity documents to register on the association’s database.

The event will start at 10am and for more information, interested people can call Sam Mochaki on 082 256 9485 or 067 719 3964.
