What will you do with your 67 minutes?
MES Kempton Park has a list of ways that you can serve your community
In 67 minutes you can drive from Kempton Park to Pretoria and back, watch almost three episodes of 7de Laan or listen to Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off 19 times.
That, or you can dedicate 67 minutes of your time to help your community on Mandela Day – a celebration of the late political pillar’s life is on his birthday, July 18.
MES Kempton Park has a list of ways that you can serve your community this coming month, which would’ve marked Madiba’s 100th birthday.
“What better way to celebrate this great man’s legacy than to give 67 minutes of your time?” Luwando Conco, an intern at MES who will help organise the event, asked Express.
Activities in which people can take part will include sponsoring a meal, painting MES’ kitchen, sorting donated clothing, cleaning the streets, spoiling local children and much more.
Conco added that a little love, warmth and care can go a long way.
What will you use your 67 minutes for?
