Norkem Park SAPS takes 19 suspects off the streets

Norkem Park SAPS and EMPD members put their heads together this past weekend, resulting in 19 less criminal suspects on the streets.

These arrests included nine for driving under the influence, four for shoplifting, two for assault, two for possession of dagga, one for armed robbery and one for malicious damage to property.

According to Capt Lesibana Molokomme, spokesperson for Norkem Park Police Station, their duel operation started last week Friday up until Sunday.

“The operations covered all sectors of the Norkem Park precint,” Molokomme said.

“Members did stop-and-searches, a few roadblocks and traced wanted suspects.”
