One of five alleged Chloorkop cable criminals is out on bail, following their arrest last week Thursday.
He posted R20 000 bail and must report to Norkem Park SAPS twice a week.
This, after he and his fellow suspects were caught allegedly looting stolen copper and aluminium cables worth R885 000 at a storage unit on Energy Road, Chloorkop.

“Norkem SAPS and investigators from Telkom and Eskom were following up on information when they cornered all five suspects,” Capt Lesibana Molokomme, spokesperson for Norkem Park SAPS, told Express.
He added that they faced charges of possession of stolen property in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The remaining four suspects, aged between 24 and 45, will remain in custody until their next court appearance on August 8.
