Watch: When everything in the yellow lane goes wrong …

Kempton Express reported on Tuesday about a taxi pile-up on Modderfontein in which 38 people had been injured.

We since obtained video footage taken after the accident, which shows the six taxis rear-ended each other in the emergency lane – where they should not have been in the first place.

The accident happened during peak hour.

According to one of the passengers the first taxi was speeding and he had to break at a corner where they change taxis. The other taxis always drive in the yellow lane and guess what happened…

Fortunately no-one was killed or seriously injured.
