A domestic worker and gardener were locked inside a bathroom during a house robbery at a house in a security complex on Rietfontein Road in Glen Marais on Tuesday morning.
The robbery took place on the same day when another domestic worker noticed men breaking into her employer’s house on Bamboo Street.

“It is believed three of the suspects were armed; one with a firearm and another with a pick handle,” said Capt Jethro Mtshali, spokesperson for Kempton Park SAPS.
“The suspects stole a TV and jewellery and fled the scene in their getaway vehicle.
A case of house robbery is being investigated and we appeal to anyone with information to contact us on 08600 10111 or SMS the crime line number 32211.”
