Help Kempton SAPS to celebrate Mandela Day at Bredell crèche

Kempton Park SAPS needs the community’s help with the donation of children’s goods

Kempton Park SAPS appeal to community members to assist with donations for their Mandela Day initiative.

In the spirit of celebrating Mandela Day, the police members will visit Homotsegang Crèche on July 20.

“We plan to hand over food parcels and blankets to the children during this cold weather,” said Capt Jethro Mtshali, spokesperson for Kempton Park SAPS.

“The créche caters for about 40 children aged between one and five years. We call on the community to help make this initiative a success by donating children’s clothes, nappies, blankets and non-perishable food.

“Anyone who would like to donate can do so at our Kempton Park SAPS Social Crime Prevention’s office number G2 or make arrangements for collection with Capt Jane Mnyakeni on 011 393 8749.”

Mtshali said any form of donation will be greatly appreciated.

Brig Samuel Maredi will deliver a keynote address.
