Benoni Flying Squad arrested three suspects in Kempton Park CBD over the weekend for various offences.
Two suspects were arrested for the possession of cocaine-based substances and one for hijacked vehicles found in his possession.
“The white Volkswagen Golf was hijacked in Springs,” said W/O Grant Giblin, spokesperson for Benoni Flying Squad.
“Also, on the same premises, was a silver Mercedes-Benz stolen in Midrand. It is suspected that the Mercedes-Benz was used to hijack the white Volkswagen Golf.
“Officers also found a silver BMW hijacked in Terenure, Kempton Park, abandoned in Tembisa.”
The suspects face charges of possession of drugs and possession of a hijacked vehicle.
