Kingdom Sishi’s property renovated

City of Ekurhuleni officials celebrate Mandela day

The City of Ekurhuleni officials took some time off from the office to do their 67 minutes on Mandela Day.

City planning department and Ekurhuleni officials donated food to Siyazigabisa Home. They also renovated Kingdom Sishi’s house in Nxiweni Section as a gesture to show the municipality cared for the wellbeing of its people.

Ekurhuleni officials exchanged their suits for overalls as they observed the internationally celebrated Mandela Day.

Councillor and executive mayor Mzwandile Masina appealed to the community to protect Kingdom Sishi’s renovated property.

Clr Masina said: “There are a lot of people in your situation but we have identified you.”

“We thought that this will contribute a lot in your life. As a municipality, we congratulate you and your family for your new house.”

Nxiweni, Tembisa, City of Ekurhuleni’s Executive Mayor Cllr Mzwanile Masina planting one of the trees donated to Kingdom Sishi as part of the International Nelson Mandela Day. The City together with the private sector renovated Mr Sishi’s house and donated groceries, furniture and plants as part of the day.
