NO WATER: Isando Road closed as burst pipe repairs continue

Water may only be restored tonight or tomorrow

Water to various residential areas, as well as the industrial areas, will only be restored by 8pm tonight earliest.

This is according to ward councillor Simon Lapping, who also said water might only be back by 8am on Tuesday.

The outage is due to repairs currently being carried out by the metro at a burst pipe feeding the Isando reservoir. Isando Road between Foundary and Lathe roads has been closed to traffic in both directions, Lapping said.

The areas affected are Croydon, Isando, Spartan, Bonaero Park and Esther Park.
