A 44-year-old Birch Acres man was allegedly murdered by his wife’s boyfriend and his brother-in-law last week Tuesday.
According to W/O Mahlodi Langa, spokesperson for Norkem Park SAPS, the victim arrived at his home on Izikalu Street to find his brother-in-law and an unknown man in his house.
“The victim asked who the man was when one of the men started assaulting him with a brick,” Langa told Express. It is unclear which of the men started assaulting the victim first, but soon the second joined in.
The event played out at around 5.30pm.
An unidentified woman was also at the scene of the crime but it is not known whether the victim knew her. His wife, however, was at work during the suspected crime.
“The woman at the scene alleged the one suspect was the boyfriend of the victim’s wife,” Langa added.
According to him, both suspects appeared in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on charges of murder.
