Tembisa SAPS communications officer Capt Manyadza Ralidzhivha said in June 2018 a suspect allegedly overpowered a woman in Isithama section and raped her.
“The 27-year-old woman alleged that she went out looking for her child’s father.
“While she was on the street she walked past someone on the way.
“A man later came running towards her. He stopped in front of her.
“He cocked a firearm and told her to go back home.
“He took her into a yard while pointing a firearm at her.
“She was instructed to kneel down. Somebody came out of the house and he was also turned back through the barrel of the gun.
“The suspect moved with her behind the back rooms in another yard. He forced her to undress and raped her. He then ran away,” said Ralidzhivha.
