East Rand woodworkers fair is back in September

Entry is free and there will be lots of safe parking available.

Working with Wood, in association with East Rand Woodworking Association (ERWA) will stage their 14th annual show on September 8 at Northfield Methodist Church in Benoni.

Known as the Working with Wood East Rand Woodworking Fair, the event will host leading suppliers of woodworking equipment and will feature and demonstrate the latest tools and accessories available in the country.

The team will have top international brands on display at the fair, many of which will be professionally demonstrated, including the latest revolutionary circular saw from SawStop USA.

SawStop is the world’s safest table saw which has saved thousands of operators from serious injury.

Organisers will also host several ERWA members’ products in the main exhibition hall, with some amazing items on show, sculpted by years of experience, special techniques, new tricks of the trade, great artistry and special skills. All will be shared with visitors at the show.

The organisers and suppliers will have fun activities for children and families such as to learn to build something from wood.

Demonstrations will feature CNC cutting, routing and turning. Numerous items from the ERWA members will also be for sale on the day and some of the latest equipment will be available to buy at special prices, so don’t miss out.

Food and drinks will be available. The venue is situated at the corner of Aerodrome Avenue and Webb Street (entrance on Hurricane Avenue) and the fair will be open from 9am to 5pm. Entrance is free and there is safe parking.
