The Tembisa Child and Family Welfare Centre is looking for the parents or family members of a one year two months old baby girl.
According to the Tembisa Child and Family Welfare Centre social worker, Thuli Davane, Alinah was abandoned by her mother with her neighbour Ramadimetja Malema on May 8.
“Malema reported that her neighbour, Victoria, whose surname is unknown left her daughter with her claiming to be going to a clinic. Since that day Victoria never came back for her child,” said Davane.
Davane added it is believed Victoria was seen in Pretoria.
“Alinah is currently placed at the Tembisa Child and Family Welfare Centre. We are appealing to members of the community to help with the whereabouts of the child’s mother or family members,” said Davane.
