UPDATE: Water to some Kempton suburbs still not restored

To make things worse, no turnaround time had been given by the metro.

In a tweet sent out by the City of Ekurhuleni last night, the City said there was a delay in refilling the network and that technicians were trying to find the cause.

A short while ago the call centre sent out a tweet, informing residents they were aware of the matter. A team is working on the matter. The outage is still related to the water leak at the intersection of Albatross and Gladiator streets in Rhodesfield.

Affected areas are Kempton Park CBD, Glen Marais, Glen Erasmia, Aston Manor, Allen Grove, Nimrod Park, Pomona and Bredell.

Since the water problem has started, Kempton Express had received no official communication from the metro regarding the problem.
