Rabie Ridge SAPS reported a case of two women who were raped during a house robbery on August 6.
Rabie Ridge SAPS corporate communications officer Captain Mofana Masela said two females were caught by surprise when unknown men, armed with knives and who spoke in a Zulu accent, were already in the house waking them up.
“The intruders threatened and raped the two women. One victim was raped three times while the other victim was raped two times.
“The suspects then took two cellphones and two bank cards and they requested the pin numbers for the cards.”
Masela said it was fortunate that the victims know the suspects.
“Police are investigating a case of house robbery and five counts of rape and the suspects will be arrested soon,” said Masela.
