A team of technicians is currently on site to repair yet another burst water pipe in Kempton Park.
The repair work started at noon and it is expected to be finished by 7pm, said Themba Gadebe, spokesperson for the metro.
The repairs will result in water interruptions affecting customers in the following areas:
• Kempton CBD
• Glen Marais
• Glen Erasmia
• Aston Manor
• Allen Grove
• Nimrod Park
• Rhodesfield
Water tankers have been dispatched to provide water, one at Rhodesfield High School, while the other one is roving in the affected areas.
The City of Ekurhuleni apologises for any inconvenience caused.
