On August 10, two women were arrested for stealing a police stamps at the Sebenza SAPS station.
At number 138, 10th Avenue in Edenvale, SAPS members called on the suspects to inquire about the police stamp. The suspects refused to cooperate with the police about the whereabouts of the police stamp.
The police arrested both the mother and daughter, said Ekurhuleni North corporate communications officer Captain Mofana Masela.
Masela said mother and daughter were arrested and detained for obstructing the police in their duties.
“While at number 138 10th Avenue in Edenvale SAPS members called on the suspect and the mother refused to tell the police of the whereabouts of the stamps and the mother told the police that she does not trust them
“The police arrested mother and daughter,” said Captain Masela said.
