Ivory Park SAPS is appealing for assistance from any member of the community who may have seen the man on the picture, to contact them immediately.
According to the Ivory Park SAPS communications officer Captain Bernard Matimulane, the suspect, Jeffery Tsietsi Matjila, 44, had a warrant of arrest issued against him after he failed to appear in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court in June this year.
“He is being sought in connection with a house robbery which took place in Ivory Park’s Extension Two whereby, in the company of two other suspects, he is alleged to have at gunpoint entered forcefully into a house, robbed the victim of his property, which includes cellphones and a motor vehicle. He was arrested in the Pretoria township of Mamelodi later that evening,” said Matimulane.
Matimulane added since then he has been out on R5 000 bail.
“He is from an area called Sun City A in Mhlanga, Mpumalanga,” he said.
