A store on Duvenage Avenue in Edleen was robbed on August 30.
According to the store manager, there were three suspects who came into the shop, one at a time, buying some products from the store.
The suspects then all came in armed and told people to drop to the floor.
“One man held a gun to my head and told me to open the till. They took all the money in the till and quite a number of cigarette packs from behind the counter,” said store manager, Tajul Islam.
“The suspects attacked the store at about 7.20pm. They took an undisclosed amount of money, five cellphones from the shop employees and customers, one customer’s car keys and then fled the scene,” said Norkem Park SAPS spokesperson Capt Lesibana Molokomme.
Investigations are underway.
