Benoni Flying Squad moved into Kempton Park central business district on Thursday between 10am and 4pm.
The crime prevention operation netted the arrest of six persons for drug-related charges, while a stolen car was also recovered.
WO Grant Giblin, spokesperson for Benoni Flying Squad, said the suspects were arrested on the corner of Pretoria Road and Central Avenue, Long Street, West Street, Voortrekker Road and Kempton Park Taxi Rank. They all allegedly had dagga in their possession.
In further policing, a white Hino truck that was hijacked in Norkem Park was recovered abandoned on the R23.
