Three days with no water as Isando pipe is repaired, starting tonight

The water department urges residents to use water sparingly

Huge parts of Kempton Park will be without water from 9pm tonight (Monday) until midnight on September 13.

The emergency outage is because of major pipe repairs taking place on Isando Road. A 6oomm leaking pipe will be replaced.

Many suburbs will have no water or low pressure on these days. The suburbs include Kempton CBD, Glen Marais, Glen Erasmia, Aston Manor, Allen Grove, Nimrod Park, Bredell, Croydon, Pomona, Spartan, Isando, Bonaero Park, Esther Park and Chloorkop.

Water tankers will be supplied to the affected areas where there is no water.

The water department urges residents to use water sparingly and refrain from filling swimming pools and irrigation activities during this period.
