Birch Acres man busted with dagga hidden in the Yellow Pages

Dagga wasn’t the only drug found in Norkem Park on the day.

The only thing Norkem Park SAPS found in the Yellow Pages on Tuesday afternoon was 42 grams of dagga.

According to Capt Lesibana Molokomme, spokesperson for the station, a 19-year-old man was busted with 19 packets of dagga wrapped in pages from the Yellow Pages business directory in Isimuku Street in Birch Acres.

“The estimated street value of the dagga is R380,” Molokomme told Express. The man was arrested and charged with possession.

A nothwe suspect was arrested on the same day in Greenfield.

“The suspect was found with cocaine worth R50 during a stop-and-search by crime prevention members,” Molokomme added.
