A 30-year-old man was arrested in Bredell on Sunday evening following a deadly fight.
According to Capt Jethro Mtshali, spokesperson for Kempton Park SAPS, the police were called to High Road at the intersection with 6th Road at 7.30pm.
According to information the police received there was a fight.
“On their arrival, they found a person being attended to by paramedics. He was later declared dead on the scene. During questioning, it was established the deceased and the suspect had a quarrel which resulted in the suspect allegedly stabbing the deceased with a sharp instrument in the upper body,” Mtshali said.
The suspect, who was still on the scene, was pointed out by witnesses and arrested.
He will appear in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court today.
