
On September 28 Tembisa South SAPS arrested a man at Ehlanzeni Section for being in possession of a suspected stolen vehicle.
Tembisa South SAPS Communication Officer, Captain Neldah Sekgobela, said the 31-year-old man was found in possession of a silver Ford Ranger.
“Tembisa South SAPS Sector managers received information from community members and proceeded to the address.
“On arrival at the scene, they found the suspect in that silver Ford Ranger with registration number CV 51 TN GP.
“The police found in the car a blue light and a jammer machine.”
She said the suspect failed to provide police with the relevant papers for the vehicle and so he was arrested and taken to Tembisa South SAPS for detention.
The management of Tembisa South SAPS commended the community for helping the police to fight crime.
The suspect will appear in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court soon to face his charges.
